LAWYER DESCRIPTION

Paralegal DESCRIPTION

Darren and his team support clients across the full spectrum of Employment Law matters, including wrongful and constructive dismissal claims, just-cause terminations, severance negotiations, executive compensation and departure scenarios, and disputes involving share or equity issues arising from the end of employment.

Darren also conducts Workplace Investigations, offering employers impartial, experienced guidance in navigating complex concerns. He conducts comprehensive third-party investigations using well-established, reliable methodologies to ensure a fair and balanced process. Darren’s goal is to deliver clear factual findings and informed legal analysis, enabling employers to implement effective, long-term solutions that help foster healthy and productive workplace environments.

Darren has extensive experience representing individual, business, and corporate clients across the Lower Mainland—particularly the South Fraser Region, Vancouver, and Vancouver Island—as well as in Alberta. He regularly advises on a wide range of civil disputes, acting for both businesses and individuals with a practical, solutions-focused approach.

With more than a decade of litigation experience, Darren is skilled at advancing his clients’ interests both inside and outside the courtroom. He recognizes that every dispute involves a unique combination of legal, personal, and commercial considerations, and he is committed to delivering strategic, tailored solutions that align with each client’s goals.

A lifelong resident of the Lower Mainland, Darren earned his Juris Doctor (Honours) dual degree from Bond University and licensed to practice in both BC and Alberta.

Darren joined KSW Lawyers in October 2023 in the South Surrey office, following his time at a large national employment law firm. His practice includes advising both employees and employers on employment matters and representing individuals and companies in business and commercial litigation.

Outside the office, Darren enjoys spending time with his young family and training as an amateur powerlifter.

Testimonials
I want to recommend Darren Sall at KSW. He did a fantastic job reviewing a severance offer that helped me come to the right decision. He explained all the options, the probabilities of success, timelines and real costs. I will be utilizing Darren's and KSW's services for all of my employment contract decisions. Thank you for great service, advice and assistance.

KSW Lawyers have been nothing but great! I'd called a few other law firms to get a consult but never got around to speaking with a lawyer. By the time others got back, it was too late. Typically when you need counsel, it's urgent. KSW was the firm that responded in a timely manner and got me connected to Darren. Darren himself has been kind and has given pragmatic advice. His paralegal Lisa has been very quick and responsive too!
