Most LTD plans will replace 60% to 70% of an individual's normal income. Each disability plan is different. Some may provide disability benefits for up to 2 years if a person is unable to return to the job he/she had before becoming disabled. After 2 years, a person may continue to receive benefits only if he/she is unable to work at any job.
