Kai is an Associate Lawyer with KSW Lawyers working out of the Surrey office. Kai’s practice focuses primarily on civil and commercial litigation. Having joined KSW Lawyers as an Articling Student in 2025, Kai became an Associate Lawyer after being called to the British Columbia Bar in 2026.
Kai is committed to providing clients with diligent, responsive, and effective representation. From straightforward business disputes to complex Charter arguments, he has experience assisting senior counsel on a broad range of legal matters. Kai regularly appears before both the Supreme Court and Provincial Court of British Columbia, and has successfully negotiated agreements between parties outside of court.
Kai holds a Master of Laws from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Leicester. Prior to pursuing legal studies, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Major in Anthropology from the University of British Columbia and worked as an archaeologist and assistant museum curator.
